Lindsay Lohan - Lindsay Lohan Denies Drinking Before Fall

Lindsay Lohan has denied that she was drinking before tripping and falling outside a Lower East Side bar on Wednesday (31st March 2011).

The troubled actress, who is reportedly keen to relocate to New York, was photographed on her knees on the sidewalk in heels and a large fur coat, reports People Magazine. Although the 24-year-old appeared to struggle to get back on her feet and at one point pressed her forehead against the ground, she denies that alcohol was the cause of the fall. Speaking on her Facebook page, the actress insists she wasn't drinking, adding, "im always a klutz". She followed up the message with a Twitter post that read, "funny how making a joke can turn into..well, me falling and a story.. #twisted". 

Lohan is spending time in Manhattan before she heads back to court in Los Angeles on 22nd April 2011 to face allegations of theft. She is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Venice jeweller.

Even with her mishap on Wednesday, Lindsay Lohan hit the town again on Thursday, stepping out with friends for an evening in SoHo, before catching a private screening of Jake Gyllenhaal's latest flick 'Source Code'.
